Attorney Bill Webster

Bill Webster

Bill has over 20 years of experience in representing injured and disabled workers. His passion lies in helping men and women qualify for disability benefits in social security, workers’ compensation and in general personal injury matters.

Growing up on a farm in Southwest Michigan, Bill has worked in the construction, landscaping, food service, manufacturing and medical industries. As a member of the UAW Local 2093, Bill was an hourly worker at American Axle and Manufacturing before going to law school at Wayne State University where he graduated with honors.

Never having much interest in representing employers or insurance companies, Bill has spent his entire career protecting the rights of the hardest working men and women in his community from being abused by unscrupulous employers and insurance companies. Mr. Webster is licensed to practice in all Michigan state and federal courts as well as the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Bill and his wife, April, live in Paw Paw with their two active sons.

Attorney Eric Kihm

Eric Kihm

Eric graduated from Hackett High School, San Francisco State University and University of San Francisco School of Law. He clerked for Kalamazoo County Circuit Court before dedicating over 30 years to representing the injured and disabled. His practice is strictly limited to Worker’s Compensation, Social Security Disability and Serious Personal Injury. Eric has represented thousands of clients who have received millions of dollars in awards and benefits.

Eric has been an associate member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Fraternal Order of Police. He also served as a youth hockey coach.

Eric has been married for 30 years and has two children in masters programs.

Assistant Kay

Kay Owens

Ms. Owens is the firm’s office manager and legal assistant. She has a BA from Western Michigan University and has 30 years of experience as a legal assistant.

Kay has been with the firm for over 20 years and has vast experience in all of our areas of practice.

Doug Kirk (Retired)

Mr. Kirk is a 1975 graduate of the University of Michigan and a 1981 graduate of Marquette University Law School. While in law school, he worked as a law clerk for a firm that handled legal matters in Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability.

He has been associated with this law firm since being admitted to the practice of law in 1981 and became a partner in 1987.

Mr. Kirk has focused his practice on workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability law ever since, representing thousands of injured workers and disabled individuals over the past 40 years.
